The following list represents a small list regulations currently in force.

Pre-Placement Exams: The Americans with Disabilities law has changed pre-employment exams with specific requirements on what is allowed to be asked and tested. Trinity WorkCare is very familiar with the law, and can provide the allowed exams.

State and Federally required exams (DOT, PUCO, OSHA): Government requirements have forced employers to meet many medical surveillance testing activities. This is also mandated to be accomplished at the employer's expense and during the employee's work time.

Examples of relevant activities:

  • Noisy areas ~ hearing conservation programs are required. Employers must offer audiology testing and education of hearing programs.
  • Exposure to toxic materials ~ Employers must offer medical testing and monitoring of all employees exposed to materials such as lead, asbestos, coke oven emissions, benzene, etc.
  • Dusty conditions ~ Employees working in dusty area which require a mask of any type require medical clearance to wear the mask safely.
