WorkCare's Employee Assistance Program
(EAP) provides employees and their family members access to confidential, professional assistance for a wide range of personal and work-related problems. Problems may vary with the individual employee.

Early Identification and Resolution of Problems

  • Employee education
  • Clinical services (prompt interview and five therapeutic outpatient sessions per year, per employee or family member)
  • Intensive manager/supervisor training and consultation
  • Executive briefings
  • Consistent visibility in the workplace
  • Assistance in the development of policies and procedures to better achieve a safe, healthy workplace environment
Worksite Seminars on Various Topics
  • Stress Management
  • Assertiveness skills training
  • Signs and symptoms of chemical dependency

  • Depression and winter blues

We provide quarterly mailings to the employee's home in addition to a 24-hour help line

Assistance to Supervisors and Managers by:

  • Identifying troubled employees
  • Coordinating company disciplinary policies with EAP Services
  • Assessing and documenting employee job performance
  • Developing a plan of action
  • Offering direction about how to make referrals to the EAP
  • Conducting job performance reviews
