The effects of substance abuse are always harmful to employers, the individual employee, and the community we live in. It is in everyone's best interest of detect problems early on and deal with them promptly.

 

Substance Abuse Screenings and other services offered:

Certified Urine Drug Screen
  • The labs contracted by Trinity WorkCare to perform testing are certified by the Department of Health and Human Services. This certification is required to perform evidential drug screening. All drug testing based upon government regulations and private sector business requirements need this certification.
  • Evidential Breath Alcohol Testing

  • Trinity WorkCare has Evidential Breath Testing devices (EBTs') that are approved by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The readings of our certified equipment are legally binding and are admissible in a court of law.
  • Collection Site for companies with lab contracts

    For organizations who already have a lab contracted to provide testing services, Trinity WorkCare is accredited by the National Association of Collection Sites.
     

    Reasonable Suspicion or Post Accident Collections

  • Trinity WorkCare offers 24-hour availability for collections. Someone is always on call for post accident and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol screening.   To activate this service, pleasae call 740-264-4250 for further instructions.
  •   Consultation and assistance in the development of "Drug Free Workplace" policies and ongoing drug screening programs
  • Trinity WorkCare can assist a client company in developing their policies and setting up a Drug-Free Workplace program. WorkCare also has a random selection program which can be used for a company requiring random selections. Both services are free if the company uses the Clinic for their screenings.
  • Rapid Drug/Alcohol Testing

  • Trinity WorkCare can test employees for drugs or alcohol on-site and provide immediate results. If an employee is injured on the job, the results of a post accident test can be helpful later on. This procedure allows the employee to return to work immediately if no substances are present.  Newly hired employees can start to work immediately, as well.
  • Drug and Alcohol education programs for employees and supervisors

  • Regulations are in force which require employers to provide educational programs of the effects of drug and alcohol abuse in the workplace. These programs also teach supervisors how to recognize signs of abuse and how to handle various situations.
